Terms and Conditions - OOT - Oman's Own Tours

Welcome to OOT - Oman's Own Tours. Before embarking on your journey with us, we kindly ask you to read and understand the following terms and conditions. By booking a tour with OOT, you agree to comply with these terms.

Booking Confirmation:

1. A booking is considered confirmed once payment is received and processed by OOT.
2. The person making the booking accepts these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking.

Payment:

1. Full payment is required to secure your booking unless otherwise stated.
2. Payments can be made via the methods specified by OOT, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other accepted forms.
3. Prices are quoted in Omani Rial (OMR) unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy:

1. Cancellations must be made in writing to OOT.
2. Cancellations made within [X] days prior to the tour start date may be subject to cancellation fees. The specific number of days and corresponding fees will be detailed in your booking confirmation.
3. OOT reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or an alternative date will be offered.

Changes to Bookings:

1. Changes to your booking may be subject to additional fees.
2. Any changes to the number of participants, tour dates, or other significant details must be communicated to OOT at least [X] days before the scheduled tour date.

Travel Insurance:

1. OOT recommends that all participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and travel disruptions.

Health and Safety:

1. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and physically capable of participating in the chosen tour.
2. Any special dietary requirements or medical conditions must be communicated to OOT in advance.

Responsibility and Liability:

1. OOT acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (hotels, transportation, etc.). We are not responsible for the acts, errors, omissions, or negligence of these third-party providers.
2. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings, and OOT is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft.

Code of Conduct:

1. Participants are expected to adhere to the local laws, customs, and traditions of Oman.
2. OOT reserves the right to remove any participant from a tour if their behavior is deemed to be disruptive or jeopardizing the safety and enjoyment of others.

Force Majeure:

1. OOT is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or acts of terrorism.

Governing Law:

1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Oman, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Omani courts.
